Work•flow /ˈwərkflō/

“The sequence of industrial, administrative, or other processes through which a piece of work passes from initiation to completion.” – lexico.com

What is a quality workflow?  How do we develop it?  Below are elements of the production cycle that most creative people move through as they create something.  First, we must identify the stages of project production. What is each stage and what are the quality checks for each stage.  Read on and find out!

  • WHAT TOOLS SHOULD WE USE?
  • you should learn how to use visual inspiration feeling inspiration and try to broaden your knowledge of the world.
  • WHAT PROCESS SHOULD WE USE?
  • make ideas try the ideas then finish the idea that you like the most.
  • HOW DO YOU MEASURE QUALITY?
  • when you see someone’s ideas in the pre-making if they only have a couple ideas then they are probably not taking the assignment or work seriously or to the minimum
  • WHO MEASURES QUALITY?
  • the people who measure your quality are the people who are reviewing the things that you are putting out for them to review.

How do we clarify our specific goal(s) for a project?

  • WHAT TOOLS SHOULD WE USE?
  • slow down and make sure you are explaining the things you are putting out with the same intention that you thought of them with
  • WHAT PROCESS SHOULD WE USE?
  • take your time, think about what your saying, make sure you are writing things with the right intention
  • HOW DO YOU MEASURE QUALITY?
  • when this step is done you will see the level of quality that your peice is done
  • WHO MEASURES QUALITY?
  • the people who measure are reviewing the product or the poeple seeing it in action

How can we brainwrite, brainstorm, storyboard, and plan our ideas at this phase?

  • WHAT TOOLS SHOULD WE USE?
  • Think of things that will either improve what you already have or add on to the things that you already have
  • WHAT PROCESS SHOULD WE USE?
  • Make sure you like the way that your product is looking and check for anything that you want to improve and if its all good you are ready for the next stage
  • HOW DO YOU MEASURE QUALITY?
  • the amount of time they put into the piece and the amount if effort, will affect the way that people see your piece
  • WHO MEASURES QUALITY?
  • the people who see the effort and how the work is going so far

How do we communicate with each other and execute our plan for this phase? This is where we actually make the project.

  • WHAT TOOLS SHOULD WE USE?
  • make sure to talk to the people around you if you need help and and keep trying the product to make sure you are testing your product to make sure all is well
  • WHAT PROCESS SHOULD WE USE?
  • test it then talk about it and them make improvements
  • HOW DO YOU MEASURE QUALITY?
  • how much effort your putting into this part to make this part if the whole project successful
  • WHO MEASURES QUALITY?
  • the best person to measure how much quality went into your piece is you or the people closely helping you.

How do we communicate with each other and execute our final stages of the project for this phase? This is where we publish the project.

  • WHAT TOOLS SHOULD WE USE?
  • make sure we are 100% confident in our work and and if their are any little things that we would like to change then we should be ready to change them
  • WHAT PROCESS SHOULD WE USE?
  • make sure their is nothing being left out try to work out all the kinks and make sure you are 100% ready for people to use your content
  • HOW DO YOU MEASURE QUALITY?
  • if the project looks good and has all of the things that we agreed on and they look like they were worked on well then you can then make out the quality
  • WHO MEASURES QUALITY?
  • the people who will most measure your quality are the people who will be reviewing the newly released

How do we share our project with our learning community, advisory members, and the world?

  • WHAT TOOLS SHOULD WE USE?
  • we should use things in our project that sound interesting because in doing this it will catch the attention of the people who are most looking for a game that you might be trying to introduce
  • WHAT PROCESS SHOULD WE USE?
  • come up with ideas that will best promote the ideas and the theme of the project for people to see
  • HOW DO YOU MEASURE QUALITY?
  • how well we were able to sell the product and how well we were able to catch the attention of all of the people.
  • WHO MEASURES QUALITY?
  • your team and you will be able to measure it by seeing how many people tried your product and how successful it was.

How do we conduct a feedback session at the end of the project development cycle?

  • WHAT TOOLS SHOULD WE USE?
  • read what the reviewers have to say and what the people are aaying they want to change
  • WHAT PROCESS SHOULD WE USE?
  • check social media and be open minded to new ideas
  • HOW DO YOU MEASURE QUALITY?
  • you will know if your game is good if their is a large number of people telling you that it has good quality
  • WHO MEASURES QUALITY?
  • the people who will be measureing your quality will be the people who are giving feedback on the product that you have released

Recipe For Success: Brian Shaw

Who is one of your mentors?

success is someone working hard to be the best they can in the things that they most want to accomplish. Brian shaw is successful, Brian shaw isn’t successful because of the amount of money he has, it’s because he strived his hardest to become the worlds strongest man and in doing this he became one of the only people in history have won 4 world strongest man competitions which was his goal. I want to do my best to find the thing that I want to do most in my life and when I find that thing I want to do my best to become the greatest I can be at that thing. Like my father who was an immigrant was able to come here without knowing the language and have kids support them and have a decent life. this makes him successful in my eyes because he was able to come here and make a living and have all of the things that he came here for.

Challenges Overcome

Brian Shaw has a very difficult routine he has to maintain a balanced diet which is very expensive and this is sometimes the biggest issue some people have. He also has to work out a lot to get stronger but he also has to workout consecutively or else he will lose his muscle relatively fast. sometimes doing all this is very hard because you are bus all the time and have to time or room in your day to do anything else which can be sometimes annoying.=
